Many people ask well, “Who are you? What experience do you have? Why should I retain you? Why should I consider about retaining you for my personal injury claim?” Let me give you a little background. I’ve been practicing in Utah since 1978. I had a personal injury and medical malpractice practice for that entire time. I’ve handled literally hundreds of cases. I’ve evaluated literally thousands of cases trying to decide whether there was a case, whether there isn’t a case, and whether to pursue. I have several million-dollar verdicts both in a medical malpractice context as well as in an automobile personal injury context. I’ve been privileged to work with a number of other lawyers as I was a baby lawyer growing up. I’ve been involved in settlements of up to $47 million down to multi-million-dollar settlements down to the bread-and-butter smaller cases of hundreds of thousands of dollars. This is what I do. I don’t do other areas of law. I focus entirely and fully on personal injury and medical malpractice. I’ve done so for 28 years and hope to do it for considerably longer.
